Today Bakeries Products (Klang) Sdn. Bhd. (TBPSB) traces its roots back to 1982, when it began as Everyday Bakery & Confectionery (Kelang) Sdn. Bhd., a small neighbourhood bakery in Klang. In 1989, the company changed its name to Today Bakeries Products (Klang) Sdn. Bhd., and over the years, it has grown into one of Malaysia’s leading bread manufacturers, achieving an annual turnover of approximately RM45–52 million and employing around 280 dedicated staff.
Our diverse product range includes buns, bread, mochi, and frozen bakery products, distributed primarily through retail outlets. These outlets vary from stalls, provision shops, and grocery stores (e.g., 99 Speedmart) to convenience stores (e.g., FamilyMart) and major dollar stores such as Eco Shop and MR. DIY.
Currently, TBPSB supplies to over 6,000 outlets across the central region of Peninsular Malaysia, serviced daily by a dedicated sales team operating 140 delivery vans.















We produce a wide range of bakery products distributed to over 6,000 outlets across Peninsular Malaysia. Our customers can find us in 99 Speedmart, FamilyMart, Eco Shop, MR.DIY, and other convenient spots they visit every day.

With daily deliveries by a fleet of 140 vans and a passionate sales force, we’re always close to our customers just like we were back in the beginning.

KHU KIM CHAI
Managing Director / Founder
Mr. Khu Kim Chai, born in 1958, is a Malaysian entrepreneur and the founder as well as the Managing Director of Today Bakeries Products (Klang) Sdn. Bhd. He began his journey in the bakery industry during his teenage years and, through hard work, dedication, and innovation, successfully transformed a small bakery into a multi-million-ringgit corporation.
To stay ahead in the ever-evolving bakery industry, he has pursued numerous practical and theoretical courses in Taiwan and regularly attends international food technology exhibitions in Taiwan, Japan, and the United States. In addition, he has completed management courses locally to strengthen his leadership and business acumen.
Today, Mr. Khu is widely recognized as a prominent figure in Malaysia’s bakery industry, known for his vision, expertise, and commitment to excellence.
TAN GUAN KIM
Co-Founder
Madam Tan Guan Kim, one of the co-founders of the company, brings over 20 years of experience in the bakery industry. She worked alongside with Mr. Khu from the company’s humble beginnings as a small neighbourhood bakery, contributing to its growth and expansion into the large-scale business it is today. Previously responsible for overseeing key aspects of the company’s daily office operations, Madam Tan has since retired. She has successfully nurtured and guided her successors to take over the leadership role and manage the company’s extensive operations with the same dedication and passion.
